First Lesson
We're excited for you to join us!
Follow these three steps and read this page to get ready for lessons!
1. Register & Log
Register now to confirm your weekly time slot with your teacher.
Watch for our confirmation emails for your lesson time and login instructions.
Log in to our portal to see your lesson schedule and cancel lessons if necessary.
2. Get Ready
Instrument: Please have your instrument tuned (if you know how) and any necessary accessories ready for lessons.
Music: If you have any recent music you've been working on, have it accessible, otherwise your teacher will assign music after the first lesson. We have select books for purchase.
For Online Lessons:
Device: Doesn’t need to be anything fancy - a phone, iPad, or computer with a webcam, speakers, and mic. If using Zoom, download the app.
3. Have Fun!
Meet Your Teacher: At your first lesson your teacher will meet you at your lesson time.
For Online Lessons:
Check Audio Settings: Make sure volume is turned up on your device and if using zoom, audio buttons on upper and lower left of the screen are on.
Make Music!
Lesson Policy Basics
Schedule: Lessons are scheduled once a week each week at the same time for 30 minutes. View your lesson schedule on our portal and even sync to your calendar! Follow our lesson calendar for breaks and upcoming performances.
Billing: Lessons are set up on easy Auto-Pay and paid for on the 1st of each month for the full flat-rate monthly tuition. Lessons will not be refunded once paid. Tuition reserves your time slot for the same day and time each week.
Cancellations: Missed lessons are inevitable and, therefore, have been taken into account in the overall cost of tuition. No makeups, credits, or refunds are given for missed lessons.
