Just keep swimming

Two coats of oil varnish are on the cello and violin. They are hanging in the the lightbox aka a spare closet with uv lights in it. Oil varnish takes a couple of days to cure between coats. The timing is good because we are taking a little time off this week to go to Alabama to see a couple of great bands, A Silver Mount Zion and This Will Destroy You. I am even bringing the one violin I have that I made that is set up to see if either of the violinists in A Silver Mount Zion will play it (if they have the time and energy.) I think it would be the bees knees just to have them play it and tell me what they think about it. I love feedback.

I am also super excited to have my cello up and running again by the end of the month (already looking much better than it did before) and the violin shortly after it. Just a couple of coats to go!
